Peacefields is our home and we enjoy sharing this historic property and the surrounding area with our guests. Having previously owned a Bed and Breakfast at the Jersey Shore we had quite a “wish list” of features for our second endeavor. We hoped to provide a quiet, rural atmosphere with the simple elegance of an earlier time where guests could find respite from their everyday world.

In the fall of 2002 we were fortunate to find this very special property. We moved in a few days before Christmas and began the process of developing our new B&B early in 2003. Almost 15 months later we hung our sign and opened for business.

Our country setting comes with many rural amenities that must be accepted and appreciated. The birds, insects, deer, fox, turkey, raccoon, squirrel, bats, coyote and bear (we haven’t seen one yet) share our environment with the horses and tractors. In addition, two cats, Chelsea and Smokey, and a chocolate lab, Taylor, make their home here and are all people friendly.

We have been blessed with a very special home and the support of our township (Upper Freehold), the local businesses and our neighbors. We look forward to your sharing the Peacefields experience and returning many times.
